Root Micromax Canvas 2

In my last update, we have seen a small description on "Root your phone". In this update we will briefly discuss on "How to Root Micromax Canvas 2."
Canvas 2 is the first popular phone from Micromax and one of the most sold phone under this brand. This phone runs on ICS and if you want to upgrade your android version you will have to root your phone. So lets start to "Root Your Canvas 2"

Before rooting your device...

1. Make sure your phone is fully charged; or at least 70-80% charged
2. Take a backup of your contacts, Photo's, Videos etc..
3.  Make sure you have Canvas 2 Drivers installed on you PC. If not please download from "Micromax A110 Drivers"

Rooting Process:

• Enable USB Debugging. (Settings >> Developer options >> USB Debugging)
• Download a "Root File" to your PC and extract it on your desktop.
• Now connect your phone to your PC and change USB mode to "Media Device"

• Now open a file which you have downloaded in Step 2 and click on "Run me.bat" file.
• It will open CMD. This window will have 2 options. Press 1 to select "Normal Type" and Press Enter
• Rooting Process will start and it will take some time. Your phone will reboot so don't worry be patient.
• Now once everything is done, check for "Super User" app in your app drawer. If you are able to see this app, the your phone is rooted successfully...

 So that's it, your Canvas 2 is rooted and is open to all the possible customization... Hope the above info would have helped you in rooting your phone..
