Hello Friends, In my earlier post we have seen "How to Update MIUI6 on Xiaomi MI3".
In this post we will see how to root your MI3 running on MIUI 6.3.9.0 (KXDMIBL) Stable India version.
You can also read "Advantages of Rooting" if you don't know about rooting. So after reading advantages, you must be eager to root your device.
So lets see how to Root your Xiaomi MI3.
To root your phone, you need to follow below simple steps:
- Download Updater zip from HERE
- Download Super SU update from HERE
- Now on your device, go to updater App, and select the 3 dots on the top right hand side which will open menu drop down.
- Click on "Select update Package", then select "Update.Zip" and wait till you get message "Reboot now"
- Reboot your device. After reboot Switch off your device.
- Now press "Power + Volume up" key together to start device in recovery mode.
- Once you are in recovery, you will get 2 options -- i) System1 ii) System2
- You will have to select System2.
- Select "Install Zip" >> From SD card
- Select Super SU.zip
- Once you get message "Install from SD completed", reboot your device.
- The next step is to install Supersu app from Play store.
- Install Root checker from Play store to confirm your root access..
