The smartphones in India are becoming more and more affordable without compromising on latest technologies. A couple of years ago, the budget category was dominated only by Small Indian players like Micromax, Karbon, Lava etc. But today we can  see big players like Samsung, Motorola, Sony also has entered in this category.

2. Xiaomi Redmi 2:
After the success of Redmi 1s, Xiaomi has launched its upgrade Redmi 2. This device features 4.7 HD display. IT runs on 1.2 Ghz Quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, which is supported by 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with 1GB on internal storage with an option to expand upto 32GB. The phone has 8 MP of primary and 2 MP secondary camera. Picture quality is very good during daylight, and decent during night. Redmi 2 is running on Xiaomi's latest MIUI6 which makes this device even look good and smooth in operation. Priced at Rs.6999 this will be the first device that should come in your mind if you are low on budget.


3. Asus Zenfone 5
Asus has reentered in the Indian market with bang with their zenfone series. Talking about zenfone 5, it has 1.6 Intel Atom Duel core Processor supported by 2 GB RAM, PowerVR GPU which can handle your Multitasking and Games with ease. It has 5'' HD display with Gorilla glass protection. Zenfone 5 feature 8 MP back camera with LED flash and 2 MP front camera. Asus has introduced Pixelmaster technology in this phone which helps in clicking quality images. It comes with 8GB internal Memory with option to expand it with SD card. The phone is sleek and has premium look.Overall this is a fantastic buy in this price range.

4. Xiaomi Note 4G
Xiaomi, Chinese giant is slowly growing their popularity in India with their good quality phones at very cheap rate and Note 4G is no different. The phone feature 5.5" IPS HD touchscreen with 267 PPI pixel density. It is powered by 1.6 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor supported by 2 GB of RAM which delivers good performance. It features 13 MP back and 5 MP front camera which is capable of clicking decent picture. The 3100 mAh battery backup gives enough juice to the phone. All in all good choice if you have a budget of Rs.10000 and you didn't like any other option mentioned above.


5.Samsung Galaxy Core Prime: 
Finally, after a long time, Samsung has managed to launch a budget device which could compete with other budget devices. This device runs on 1.2 Ghz Quad core Snapdragon 410 processor which is supported by 1 GB of RAM. This combination makes this phone very good for day to day activities. It has 4.5" screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The phone runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat version. This device come with 8 GB internal memory which can be extended upto 64 GB. Samsung has provided 5 MP back and 2 MP front camera for this device. The phone does not offer great feature if you compare with the mentioned above, but those who are not comfortable with brands like Micromax, Asus, Xiaomi for them this device is good option to buy if their budget is under Rs.10000. The phone is best suited to them who wants to gift it to their parents.


6. Motorola Moto E(2nd gen)
Moto E which was again one of the best budget phone, has now upgraded by Motorola and launched Moto E 2nd Generation device. It has 4.5 HD display which is I guess is very good option. It runs on 1.2 quadcore snapdragon 200 processor which is supported by 1GB of RAM. 2390 mAh battery is enough to give you a days backup. The phone has 8 GB of internal storage and has option to expand upto 32 GB. The device features 5 MP primary and 0.3 MP front camera which i feel is a downside. Almost every phone under this category is offering 8 MP option, whereas this device has 5MP. This device is also priced at Rs.6999 and if you are a Moto lover and want a device from trusted brand and is happy with its limitation then this device is for you.
