Best Budget Smartphone: Moto E (Gen2) vs Xiaomi Redmi 2 vs Lenovo A6000

Hey Friends, I am back with another smartphones comparison. This is the battle between the budget phones. There was a time when budget phone means those which has limited specs, no great look, outdated software and so on. But now with the arrival of companies like Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo, Asus, Micromax etc, this definition has changed. Now you will get budget phone with good specs, updated software's and almost all the feature which Mid range or high valued phone has.
In this post, I have shortlisted some of the recently launched phone which are low on price but has very good features. Its a Battle between MOTO E (2nd Gen) vs Xiaomi Redmi 2 vs Lenovo A6000.
Lets have a look at specs comparison between these 3 devices.

Conclusion:
All the 3 devices has the same price band, so ultimately the choice would be done based on the features that they offer.
To start with, if you want a big display device then A6000 will be for you with 5 inch HD display. But mind you, Redmi 2 has 4.7 inch HD display which is sharper display than A6000. Moto E is way behind in terms of screen size.
Next is battery. If you want a phone which has a good battery backup then Moto E with 2390 mAh battery backup should be your choice out of above 3.
All the devices has similar storage and expandable storage capacity. One point to highlight here is Moto G does not have OTG support.
In terms of performance, both Redmi 2 and A6000 runs on Qualcomm Sanpdragon 410 while MOTO E has Qualcomm Sanpdragon 200. Moto E lacks in Camera also with 5 MP as compare to 8 MP in Redmi 2 and A6000.
However Moto E runs of Android Lolipop whereas other two runs on Kitkat.

So after considering all above features Moto E falls behind the other 2 devices. Though Redmi 2 and A6000 has almost same features the biggest differentiators between them is user interface. Redmi 2 runs on latest MIUI6 which is far better UI than that of Vibe UI of Lenovo. So Redmi is clear winner if you compare the above devices. So make your choice based on your requirement.
